Not every flight from Delhi to Amsterdam takes the same path right now.
3 routes assessed for this corridor. Direct scores highest.
Direct — lower exposure than Gulf-connected options, with minimal detour impact and strong hub reliability.
Best option for DEL→AMS. Air India and KLM both operate direct services, routing via Iranian/Central Asian airspace. Level-1 advisory on the Iran segment but no Gulf exposure.
Limited alternative paths if the main corridor is disrupted
DEL–AMS direct routes over Iran (FIR: OIIX). Iranian airspace carries a persistent level-1 advisory. Sudden restriction of Iranian FIR would require rerouting, adding approximately 45–90 minutes.
Second clean-airspace option via Turkish Airlines. DEL–IST routes via Iran/Central Asia (level-1 advisory); IST–AMS is clean European routing. Best frequency of the non-Gulf options.
High-frequency option via Emirates. DEL→DXB first leg is clean; DXB→AMS crosses the active Middle East advisory zone on the second leg.
Active disruptions
FlightDetour evaluates route options using advisory airspace exposure, corridor sensitivity, detour impact, and hub routing logic — based on publicly available EASA and national authority advisories.
Coverage focuses on major long-haul corridors. Some routing patterns — including certain China-side connections via mainland Chinese hubs — are not yet included. If you expect an option here and don't see it, that's a coverage gap, not an assessment.
Scores compare corridor quality; they do not predict airline operations or safety outcomes. Verify with your airline and government travel advisories before booking.
