European regulators raised their advice on the United Arab Emirates on 14 July 2026: airlines should stay out of the country's airspace at any height until at least 31 August 2026. Nothing is closed — Dubai and Abu Dhabi are two of the busiest connecting airports in the world and both are running normally. Airlines also report their satellite navigation signals being jammed in this area, which is why crews plan for it in advance. A connection here is not cancelled or delayed by the warning; it means the flight passes through airspace the official advice says to stay out of.
