Not every flight from Sydney to Frankfurt takes the same path right now.
2 of 3 routes rated Flowing. Via Singapore is the strongest current option.
Via Singapore — clean airspace routing, with moderate detour impact and reasonable hub reliability.
Best current option for SYD→FRA. SYD–SIN is a clean regional sector; SIN–FRA uses the Central Asian corridor with no advisory zone transit on either leg.
SIN–FRA second leg uses the Central Asian corridor. If Eurocontrol flow restrictions are active on arrival day, this segment may be affected. Changi's hub depth provides good recovery options.
Clean airspace on both legs. SYD–HKG is a major regional route; HKG–FRA uses the Central Asian corridor. Good choice if Singapore availability is limited.
Emirates via Dubai is the highest-frequency option for SYD→FRA, but the DXB–FRA second leg crosses the active Middle East advisory zone.

FlightDetour evaluates route options using advisory airspace exposure, corridor sensitivity, detour impact, and hub routing logic — based on publicly available EASA and national authority advisories.
Coverage focuses on major long-haul corridors. Some routing patterns — including certain China-side connections via mainland Chinese hubs — are not yet included. If you expect an option here and don't see it, that's a coverage gap, not an assessment.
Scores compare corridor quality; they do not predict airline operations or safety outcomes. Verify with your airline and government travel advisories before booking.
