All 2 assessed routes are currently rated Flowing.
Via Singapore scores highest on this corridor — clean airspace routing, with moderate detour impact.
Limited coverage — fewer corridor options than usual.
CGK–ICN via Singapore, routing north over South China Sea and East China Sea into Korea. Fully advisory-clean throughout. Korean Air also operates direct CGK–ICN non-stop service which avoids the SIN transit entirely. The via-SIN option works well when Korean Air direct flights are sold out or SQ offers better pricing.
South China Sea and East China Sea transit are fully advisory-clean. Korean Air direct CGK–ICN is also fully advisory-clean on this southeast corridor.
CGK–ICN via Hong Kong. Cathay Pacific provides the CGK–HKG leg; multiple carriers connect HKG–ICN. Fully advisory-clean route over South China Sea and into Korea. Alternative when SIN routing is sold out or HKG schedules align better. Korean Air or Asiana connections from HKG are reliable.

FlightDetour evaluates route options using advisory airspace exposure, corridor sensitivity, detour impact, and hub routing logic — based on publicly available EASA and national authority advisories.
Coverage focuses on major long-haul corridors. Some routing patterns — including certain China-side connections via mainland Chinese hubs — are not yet included. If you expect an option here and don't see it, that's a coverage gap, not an assessment.
Scores compare corridor quality; they do not predict airline operations or safety outcomes. Verify with your airline and government travel advisories before booking.
