European regulators raised their advice on Bahrain on 14 July 2026: airlines should stay out of the country's airspace at any height until at least 31 August 2026. Bahrain itself has closed nothing and its airport is operating normally. The country sits under one of the busiest stretches of the Gulf, so the warning covers a lot of through-traffic that never lands there.
